Toprak Razgatlioglu said that his first goal in 2026 is to switch to MotoGP, but if he can’t do that, he will aim to win championship with 3 different manufacturers in the next stage of his career.
Toprak Razgatlioglu, who became the World Superbike champion with Yamaha in 2021, became the champion in his first year after switching to BMW in 2024 again, and became one of the rare names in history to win with 2 different manufacturers.
There is no name that has managed to win with 3 different manufacturers in either Superbike or MotoGP.
“My first goal is to go to MotoGP, I really want that”
Speaking to the MotoEtkinlik channel ahead of BMW’s 2025 launch, Toprak Razgatlioglu reiterated that his first goal is MotoGP.
“Frankly, I still want MotoGP. We have achieved great success. But I want to go to MotoGP.”
“I really want to go if I get a good contract. I would like to go to MotoGP with a good deal.”
“If there is no good deal, there is no point in going there. It makes more sense to stay in Superbike. People should not think of it as ‘Toprak does not want to go to MotoGP’.”
“Going to MotoGP is not that easy. After going to MotoGP with a bad deal, there is no point for me there.”
“Because on the one hand, life goes on. You have to shape your life. Because it is also a job.”
“When you win, you do not only win races. So if I am going to MotoGP, it has to be a good contract. It may or may not happen.”
