Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer at Ferrari has been named as Riccardo Adami. Adami previously served as race engineer for Carlos Sainz and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Adami will be Hamilton’s new race engineer, replacing Peter Bonnington, who remains at Mercedes.
Adami gained valuable experience working with both Vettel and Sainz during their time at the Maranello-based team.
Hamilton officially became a Ferrari driver on January 1, with the move coming in a multi-year contract announced in February 2024.
According to the Italian source, Hamilton will continue to work with his manager Marc Hynes, with whom he reunited last year.
In addition, Hamilton will reportedly work with his personal trainers, photographers, security personnel and “at least one person for communication and public relations outside of Formula 1” at Ferrari.
