Pirelli’s two-day 2026 F1 tire tests with Ferrari and McLaren teams in Barcelona have been completed today.
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton participated in the tests that started yesterday. Hamilton experienced the latest version of his new team Ferrari’s car, albeit with different downforce levels.
While McLaren split its two drivers for two days, Ferrari preferred to split the two days into two and have its drivers take to the track on the same day.
Since no one knows exactly what Pirelli’s program is, it is difficult to interpret the rankings, but the data has been published nevertheless.
However, the fastest lap in the two-day test was Charles Leclerc in 1:14.971, while Lando Norris recorded the second fastest lap in 1:15.21.
Hamilton’s time on Wednesday was slower than Tuesday’s. Hamilton’s best time was 1:15.93.
