Lewis Hamilton officially took his first steps at Ferrari headquarters as a Ferrari driver.
Lewis Hamilton, who announced in February 2024 that he had signed a contract with Ferrari for 2025 and beyond, will officially be a Ferrari pilot as of 2025, but has never been seen with his team until now.
The entire Formula 1 world was eagerly awaiting Hamilton’s appearance with Ferrari.
Hamilton was expected to start working with Ferrari today. Although the team has not made an official statement yet, images of Hamilton arriving at Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello have been leaked on social media.
Raceday Official account first posted a post showing the Ferrari in front of it, then made a new post showing Hamilton entering in a suit.
Hamilton faces a busy schedule on his first day at Ferrari
Hamilton will first meet race engineer Riccardo Adami and the engineers and mechanics he will be working with throughout the season.
Hamilton will carry out simulator work to familiarise himself with the procedures, the seat and the steering wheel in order to be ready for both the 2025 season and the first tests.
Afterwards, Hamilton will attend a meeting where Fred Vasseur, Loïc Serra, Jérôme d’Ambrosio and Charles Leclerc will also be present, where information on the work to be done in January and February will be shared.
