Ferrari may have a darker red color scheme for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

The teams’ launch event for the 75th World Championship season of Formula 1 will be held at the O2 Arena in London on February 18, 2025. At this event, fans will have the opportunity to meet the new designs. The drivers and team representatives will also be part of the show. No team will be able to announce the colors of their new cars until then. Ferrari announced to the Italian media that it will introduce the model 677 car and take it to the track the following day, Wednesday, February 19.

Hamilton and Leclerc Begin New Era at Ferrari

Carlos Sainz completed his duties in a professional manner, and team boss Frederic Vasseur appreciated this. Lewis Hamilton will arrive in Maranello in the coming days to start working with Charles Leclerc. Usually, the pilots’ work in the factory, seat tests and final simulations of the new car do not start before January 10-12. During this period, the production and assembly process of the new car with the aerodynamic structure determined for the launch will also continue.

2025 F1 season launch calendar – When will F1 teams introduce their 2025 cars?
The first prototype of the 2025 Ferrari F1 car is planned to take to the track at Fiorano and Bahrain tests. Expectations for Ferrari are high as always; especially the aesthetic appearance of the car in terms of color and design is a matter of curiosity.

According to the information received, weight saving and balancing will no longer be an obstacle to creativity in the color scheme. This means that less ‘visible carbon’ will be used in the vehicles. This trend was also seen last season. In this context, the increase in the minimum weight from 798 kg to 800 kg in 2025 has also been a development that will allow for creative designs. In addition, a special cooling system, which is made mandatory in very hot races, will be activated this year, and this system will increase the minimum weight by 5 kg for everyone.

A Bold Red and New Design Details

According to the information received, Ferrari will take the stage in London with a more intense shade of red than the last two cars. However, this color will not be as dark as the iconic and extreme ‘Rosso Mugello’ shade used in the SF1000 model and chosen to celebrate the 1000th Grand Prix at the Scuderia’s Tuscan track.
